FLL - First Lego League Team

GO TEAM #38504

#38504 Nano Bots

Tomorrow’s innovators practice imaginative thinking and teamwork. Guided by two or more adult Coaches, FIRST LEGO League* teams  (grades 4-5) research real-world problems such as food safety, recycling, energy, etc.; they are challenged to develop ways to solve the problems that are at hand. They must design, build and program a robot using LEGO MINDSTORMS®, then compete on table-top playing fields.

It all adds up to tons of hard work and fun while they learn to apply science, technology, engineering, and math concepts (STEM), plus a big dose of imagination, to solve problems. Along their journey, they develop critical thinking and team-building skills, the knowledge they can later use as they move up from FLL all the way up to join FRC, where they will put all the skills that have learned over the years into one big finally robot along with basic STEM applications, as well as presentation skills, as they must present their solutions with much creativity to judges. They also practice the Program’s Core Values, which emphasize discovery, teamwork, and good sportsmanship, and develop good relations and new friendships with their peers.
